It's been a while, but I got a new Intuos4 tablet, a new art program (Corel Painter), and I am back and good to go.

Still being the Batman fanboy, I took five (originally six, but I got lazy and Ra's Al Ghul was not as tempting as a character to ink) of my favorite Batman villains and put them all together in my own style and interpretation.

Joker - I based this version of the Joker on the "Under the Red Hood" animated movie and the Arkham Asylum interpretation, rather than that from DCAU or Heath Ledger. I wanted him to look edgy and at the same time, more boding than maniacal.
Penguin - The Danny DeVito Penguin scared the shit out of me as a kid (when he bites off that dude's nose) and although he is comic relief, he's still scary in my opinion. He's based off the comic and 1940's live action portrayal.
Bane - One of the most terrifying villains in the Batman series, I thought, was Bane and his Venom. I mean, one of the most intelligent men in the DC Universe AND one of the most physically stunning? I'd take my chances with other villains, thanks. Based off of the New Batman Adventures incarnation.
Scarecrow - Might be my favorite Batman villain, I based this one off of the New Batman Adventures version mostly, with a few nods to the Arkham Asylum version.
Two-Face - Most obviously, his look was inspired by the new Arkham City and Christopher Nolan film series. I kind of wanted to go for the Batman: The Animated Series or the comic version look, but I thought a calmer, less animated looking Harvey Dent/Two-Face was best.
